These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the rules for using BlessFlo. Please read them carefully before creating an account, giving through the app, or accessing any BlessFlo services.
01Agreement to terms
These Terms govern your access to and use of the BlessFlo mobile application, website, administrative portal, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Trureliv LLC d/b/a BlessFlo (“BlessFlo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing, or using BlessFlo, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.
02Who these terms apply to
These Terms apply to individuals who use BlessFlo, including church members, donors, visitors, volunteers, event participants, and other users of the BlessFlo mobile app.
If you access or use BlessFlo on behalf of a church or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so and to bind that organization to these Terms. Additional church subscription, billing, onboarding, administrative, or service terms may apply to participating churches.
03Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and give through BlessFlo.
Members under 18 who wish to give should do so through a parent or legal guardian’s account. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for activity under that account and agrees to be bound by these Terms.
By using BlessFlo, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
04Account responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You agree to:
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
- Keep your account information accurate and current.
- Use BlessFlo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
If you are a church administrator, you are responsible for your church’s BlessFlo settings, campaigns, funds, categories, payment configuration, staff access, member access, church content, and any activity performed by users you authorize.
05BlessFlo’s role
BlessFlo is a software-as-a-service platform. BlessFlo provides software tools that help participating churches receive donations, maintain giving records, provide receipts or statements, share devotional content, organize events, coordinate volunteers, and communicate with members.
BlessFlo is not a church, charity, donor, donee, payment processor, financial institution, escrow agent, custodian of funds, tax advisor, accounting firm, or legal advisor.
BlessFlo does not collect donations on behalf of churches, hold donated funds, control donated funds, determine how donated funds are used, decide whether donations are tax-deductible, or process refunds or disputes for donations.
BlessFlo bills participating churches for access to and use of the BlessFlo SaaS platform. BlessFlo’s SaaS fees are separate from donations made by users to participating churches.
06Participating church responsibilities
Each participating church is responsible for its own Stripe account, bank account, payout settings, donation funds, campaigns, designations, refund decisions, chargeback and dispute responses, tax status, donation acknowledgments, accounting records, donor communications, and use of donated funds.
BlessFlo may provide software tools that help churches access giving records, manage donation-related information, communicate with members, or administer giving features. Providing those tools does not make BlessFlo the recipient, processor, custodian, owner, or controller of donated funds.
Participating churches are also responsible for the content they provide through BlessFlo, including campaign descriptions, fund names, devotional content, event information, volunteer opportunities, announcements, images, and other church communications.
BlessFlo does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, legality, tax treatment, or appropriateness of church-provided content.
07Donation processing
Donations made through BlessFlo are processed by Stripe and directed to the participating church selected by the donor.
Each participating church connects its own Stripe account or uses an existing Stripe account where available. Donation proceeds are deposited according to the church’s Stripe account and bank payout settings.
By making a donation through BlessFlo, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the amount, timing, and frequency you specify.
Your donation is made to the participating church you selected, not to BlessFlo.
BlessFlo does not receive, hold, own, control, or direct donated funds.
08Tax receipts and giving records
Your participating church is the recipient of your donation and is responsible for issuing any tax receipts, giving statements, acknowledgments, or other donation records required for tax, accounting, or church administration purposes.
BlessFlo may provide software tools that help the church record donations, generate receipts, provide giving statements, and maintain giving history.
BlessFlo is not the donee for tax purposes and does not determine whether any church is tax-exempt or whether any donation is tax-deductible.
BlessFlo does not provide tax, legal, financial, or accounting advice. You should consult your own advisor regarding the deductibility or tax treatment of any donation.
09Refunds
Donations are intended as charitable gifts to the participating church you selected and are generally non-refundable.
If you believe a donation was made in error, contact the receiving church directly.
Refund decisions are made by the receiving church and may be subject to applicable law, Stripe’s payment processing rules, Stripe account settings, the availability of funds, and the church’s own policies.
Processing fees may not always be refundable.
BlessFlo does not decide whether a donation should be refunded and does not control the funds used for any refund.
10Recurring giving
When you set up a recurring donation, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method automatically at the amount and frequency you choose until the recurring donation is canceled or modified.
You may cancel or modify a recurring donation through the BlessFlo app where available, or through other methods made available by the participating church or Stripe.
Cancellation stops future scheduled donations after the cancellation is processed, but it does not reverse donations that have already been submitted, processed, or completed.
If a recurring payment fails because the payment method is declined, expired, invalid, has insufficient funds, or is otherwise unavailable, Stripe may reject the payment or handle the failed payment according to Stripe’s rules and the church’s Stripe account settings.
11Payment processor terms
Payment processing services are provided by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s applicable terms, policies, and payment processing rules.
By making a donation through BlessFlo, you also agree to Stripe’s Services Agreement (https://stripe.com/legal) and acknowledge that Stripe’s privacy practices govern its handling of your payment information.
By making a donation through BlessFlo, you understand that Stripe may process your payment information and transaction information as necessary to complete the donation.
BlessFlo is not responsible for Stripe’s payment processing services, payment declines, failed payments, processing delays, disputes, chargebacks, account holds, payout timing, or other matters controlled by Stripe or the participating church’s Stripe account.
12App features
BlessFlo may include features such as giving, recurring giving, pledges, giving history, receipts, statements, devotionals, devotional audio, events, volunteer opportunities, check-in, notifications, church announcements, and account settings.
Not all features may be available for every church or every user. Feature availability may depend on the participating church’s settings, subscription, configuration, and use of the Service.
We may add, modify, suspend, or remove features at any time.
13Subscriptions and billing
Participating churches may be offered one or more paid subscription plans for access to some BlessFlo features, administrative tools, support levels, integrations, usage limits, or service tiers.
Current plan names, features, billing intervals, usage limits, trial availability, promotional terms, and pricing will be described in the BlessFlo Service, an order form, subscription page, checkout flow, or other plan materials made available at the time of purchase.
By selecting a paid plan, a participating church agrees to pay the fees, charges, and any applicable taxes disclosed at the time of purchase or renewal. Unless otherwise stated in writing, subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the billing interval selected by the church.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal through the Service, through the church’s billing settings, or by contacting BlessFlo where applicable.
For California subscribers, we provide clear notice of renewal terms at purchase, an easy cancellation method through the church’s billing settings, and pre-renewal notice as required by applicable California law.
If BlessFlo offers a free trial, introductory promotion, or discount, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the promotional period unless canceled before that time.
BlessFlo may change subscription plans, plan features, usage limits, or pricing from time to time. If we make a material change to recurring subscription pricing or billing terms, we will provide notice before the change takes effect. Continued use of the applicable paid plan after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing or billing terms.
Unless otherwise stated, subscription fees are non-refundable, except to the extent required by law or as expressly stated in a refund policy, promotional offer, or church-specific agreement. Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically entitle the church to a refund for the current billing period.
If a payment for a subscription fee cannot be completed, we may suspend or limit access to some or all paid features until the account is brought current.
Any church-specific onboarding, enterprise, pilot, reseller, partner, or custom commercial terms agreed in writing with BlessFlo will control over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.
14Devotional, event, volunteer, and church content
Participating churches may use BlessFlo to share devotionals, announcements, campaigns, events, volunteer opportunities, and other content.
Church-provided content is the responsibility of the participating church that provides it. BlessFlo does not guarantee that church-provided content is accurate, complete, current, appropriate, or suitable for your circumstances.
BlessFlo may provide devotional audio or other app features that use third-party services to generate or deliver content. These features are provided for convenience and church engagement purposes only.
15Communications
By creating an account or using BlessFlo, you agree that we may send you transactional and service-related communications, including donation confirmations, receipts, account notices, security alerts, recurring gift notices, event notices, volunteer notices, devotional notifications, and support messages.
You may opt out of non-essential communications where available. However, you may continue to receive messages necessary to operate your account, process donations, maintain security, or provide the Service.
Push notifications may be controlled through your device settings or app settings where available.
16Acceptable use
You agree to use BlessFlo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Submit payments you are not authorized to make.
- Use stolen, invalid, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment methods.
- Impersonate another person, church, organization, or representative.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or authority.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to BlessFlo, other accounts, systems, or data.
- Probe, scan, scrape, crawl, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization.
- Upload, transmit, or introduce malware, harmful code, or disruptive content.
- Use BlessFlo to violate any law, regulation, third-party right, or church policy.
- Use BlessFlo in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service.
We may suspend or restrict access to the Service if we believe activity violates these Terms, creates risk, or may harm BlessFlo, participating churches, users, Stripe, or third parties.
17Intellectual property
BlessFlo and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the BlessFlo platform, including its software, design, technology, trademarks, logos, branding, interfaces, documentation, and related materials.
These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in BlessFlo or any right to use BlessFlo’s branding without our prior written permission.
Subject to these Terms, BlessFlo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose.
18User and church content
Users and participating churches retain ownership of content they provide through BlessFlo, such as church branding, campaign descriptions, devotional content, event information, volunteer information, announcements, profile information, and giving-related records.
You grant BlessFlo a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, store, display, transmit, and use that content as needed to operate, secure, support, maintain, and improve the Service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to provide any content you submit to BlessFlo.
19Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information.
By using BlessFlo, you acknowledge that your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy.
When you connect with a participating church, that church may access certain information associated with your relationship to that church, including your profile information, giving history, donation details, event activity, volunteer activity, and other church-related activity available through BlessFlo.
20Account deletion
You may request deletion of your BlessFlo account through the app where available or by visiting blessflo.com/delete-account.
We will acknowledge deletion requests within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, subject to retention obligations.
Account deletion may not delete records that BlessFlo, Stripe, or your participating church must retain for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or recordkeeping purposes.
Your participating church may retain its own copies of giving records, receipts, statements, communications, accounting records, or other information according to its own legal, tax, accounting, pastoral, and administrative obligations.
21Service availability and changes
BlessFlo is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from delays.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of BlessFlo at any time. We may also add, remove, or change features, including giving, devotional, event, volunteer, notification, reporting, or administrative features.
We are not responsible for interruptions, delays, or unavailability caused by maintenance, third-party providers, internet failures, app store issues, payment processor issues, hosting failures, security incidents, or events outside our reasonable control.
22Third-party services
BlessFlo may rely on third-party services, including Stripe, app stores, hosting providers, email providers, notification providers, analytics providers, and other service providers.
Your use of certain features may be subject to third-party terms and policies. BlessFlo is not responsible for third-party services, third-party content, third-party systems, or actions taken by third parties.
23App store terms
Your download and use of the BlessFlo app may also be subject to the terms, rules, and policies of the app store or platform from which you downloaded the app, including Google Play or Apple’s App Store.
Those platform terms are between you and the applicable platform provider.
24Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlessFlo disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, and security.
BlessFlo does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, or free from harmful components.
BlessFlo does not guarantee any church’s tax-exempt status, charitable status, use of donated funds, refund decisions, donor communications, or compliance with legal, tax, accounting, or religious obligations.
25Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlessFlo, Trureliv LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, profits, revenue, donations, funds, business opportunity, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your access to or use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlessFlo’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or the amount you paid directly to BlessFlo for use of the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
26Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BlessFlo, Trureliv LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:
- Your misuse of the Service.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of applicable law.
- Unauthorized or fraudulent payment activity.
- Content you submit or make available through BlessFlo.
- Actions you take on behalf of a participating church.
- Your violation of another person’s or organization’s rights.
If you are using BlessFlo on behalf of a church or organization, that church or organization is also responsible for your use of the Service and for claims arising from its content, settings, staff access, payment configuration, donor communications, refund decisions, disputes, tax treatment, and use of donated funds.
27Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk, engaged in unauthorized or fraudulent activity, or used the Service in a way that may harm BlessFlo, participating churches, users, Stripe, or third parties.
You may stop using BlessFlo at any time. You may request account deletion as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including sections related to BlessFlo’s role, participating church responsibilities, donation processing, tax receipts, refunds, subscriptions and billing, intellectual property, privacy, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute resolution.
28Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and by applicable U.S. federal law.
29Informal dispute resolution
If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first at support@blessflo.com.
We ask that you give us 30 days to address the issue before starting a formal proceeding.
30Venue
Subject to the informal dispute resolution section above, any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking relief in small-claims court for qualifying claims.
31DMCA notices
If you believe content on BlessFlo infringes your copyright, send a DMCA-compliant notice to support@blessflo.com. We will respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Our designated agent for DMCA notices is Trureliv LLC, support@blessflo.com. Your notice should include the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), including identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Service, your contact information, and the statements and signature required by that statute.
32Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and notify you where appropriate.
For changes affecting paid subscriptions, recurring billing, or plan pricing, notice may be provided through the Service, the administrative portal, email, checkout flow, renewal notice, or other reasonable means before the change takes effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service.
