4 answersHow long does setup take?
Most churches are up and running in an afternoon. Guided onboarding walks you through creating your church, connecting your Stripe account (about five minutes), and inviting members with a join code. A getting-started checklist keeps track of what's left.
Do we need technical staff?
No. If someone on your team can use email and online banking, they can run BlessFlo. There's nothing to install and nothing to host, and you can practice everything safely in test mode before going live.
How do our members join?
Two ways: send invitations from the admin portal (individually or in bulk), or share your church's join code and let members connect themselves in the free app.
Can we import our existing member list?
Yes — bulk import members from a spreadsheet, and export your data anytime. Your data stays yours.
Giving & money
6 answersWhere does the money actually go?
Directly to your church. Donations are processed through your church's own Stripe account and settle straight into your bank. BlessFlo is never in the money path and never holds funds.
What fees apply to donations?
BlessFlo charges nothing on donations — no platform fee, no percentage. Only Stripe's standard processing rate applies (typically 2.9% + 30¢ per card transaction).
What ways can members give?
One-time and recurring gifts by card or Apple Pay in the app, QR codes for bulletins and screens, voice-activated giving, and campaign or pledge giving. The office can also record cash and check gifts so statements stay complete.
How do receipts and tax statements work?
Every gift gets an automatic, customizable receipt (email on Starter; email and SMS on Growth and above). Members can download their annual giving statement in the app, and the office can generate year-end statements for every donor in a click.
Does BlessFlo work with our accounting software?
Growth and above include QuickBooks integration; Ministry and Unified add Xero. Donations sync with category mapping, and the portal includes a chart of accounts and journal entries for treasurers who want the details.
Do you support multi-campus churches or church networks?
Yes — that's our Organization tier. One organization owns billing and tax identity for every campus, each campus keeps its own giving and bank account, and organization admins get a campus switcher plus a network overview dashboard. Yes — free to download and free to use, on every plan. It's available on Google Play now and coming soon to the App Store.
What is Prayer Moment?
A private, guided prayer experience. A member shares what they need prayer for, chooses a short, scripture-based, or guided prayer, answers two optional questions, and receives a personal prayer they can read, hear in an expressive voice, or pray along with. It's included in every plan.
Are Prayer Moment prayers really private?
Yes — structurally. Prayer requests and prayers are never stored: they exist only in memory during the session and are destroyed when it ends. Individual prayer activity isn't visible to church staff or to BlessFlo — churches see only anonymous, church-wide totals. The only thing remembered is the member's chosen voice. If someone appears to be in crisis, the app gently directs them to a trusted person, church leader, or emergency services — and the member can choose to ask their church to reach out; only an explicit yes shares anything, and only their name, never the prayer.
What else do members get?
Daily devotionals with audio, full giving history with receipts and tax statements, church events and volunteering signups, and notifications they control — with Face ID protection on sensitive actions.
Plans & billing
5 answersHow does the 30-day free trial work?
You get full access to everything — including Prayer Moment and advanced analytics — for 30 days, with no commitment. Need more time to present to your board? You can extend once by 15 days, self-serve.
How is our plan determined?
By your church's monthly online giving, in four ranges — every plan includes the full platform, so you're never buying features, just capacity. Plans move automatically and gently: upgrades only after two consecutive months above your range (measured on a three-month average, so holiday spikes don't count), downgrades automatically after three months below, always at the next billing cycle. Are there contracts or cancellation fees?
No long-term contracts. Pay monthly or yearly (yearly gets two months free), change plans anytime, and cancel from the billing portal. Every plan includes a 30-day money-back guarantee.
What happens to our data if we cancel?
Your member and giving data remains yours — export it anytime. And because donations run through your own Stripe account, your donor payment relationships are never locked in with us.
How is BlessFlo cheaper than platforms that look 'free'?
Many giving platforms take a percentage of every donation, so the congregation quietly pays more as giving grows. BlessFlo is a flat subscription with zero donation fees — for most churches that's significantly less per year, and the math gets better as generosity grows.
Security & data

Card details are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI DSS–compliant payment processor used by millions of businesses. BlessFlo never sees or stores card numbers.
Who can see our church's data?
Your team, based on the roles and permissions you assign in the admin portal. Sensitive admin actions are recorded in audit logs.
Who owns the data?
Your church does. Import and export members freely, and take your data with you if you ever leave.
